Throughout scripture, we are shown how God wants our hearts to be one with His so that we get to experience the full power of the fire of His Spirit.

As humans, we are always in a constant battle — a tug of war — within ourselves; trying to follow our own path versus following the Way we are meant to go. For me, i am on a constant journey of letting go. The more i let go and surrender, the closer i can get to His heart. i am learning that i am not the one to pull the rope, but He is the one pulling me in the direction i need to go.

By being united with Him and His love, we are taken on a journey to where He has planned us to go, which is filled with glory and beauty. And our hearts are set on fire when we live wholeheartedly with His Spirit alive in us. We may not be able to predict how the flames will go, but the fire will continue to burn at the core of where it began, in perfect harmony with His plan and our destiny.

Romans‬ ‭8:26-27‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)

“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.”
