What, am i afraid of?
sometimes we have fears that hold us back and limit us. it is our fears that often stop us from believing, being anchoured in hope and acting in love.
but how do we overcome when we feel afraid?
love, freedom, honesty, acceptance, gratitude, taking a break, being brave, our heart and unicorns were some of the words and drawings my sweet audience of about 30-40 children and adults shared what helps them overcome their fears; on the blank plexiglass panel at An Afternoon of Inspiration at the Porch at Christies in Westport.
so what does it look like to have a heart that can overcome the fears and challenges in life?
it is a heart that chooses love and to love one another; a heart that is free and no longer chained to fear; a heart that chooses honesty and truth; a heart that chooses acceptance; a heart that chooses gratitude; a heart that chooses to be still; a heart that chooses to take courage; and a heart that believes in unicorns and creativity because it takes a pure heart like that of a child to believe in the impossible being possible.
we all have a choice.
it may come in different ways, like how we are all unique and different.
but we have a choice to have a brave heart.
