“Christ” painted by the toes of Rosie Jon | 36″ x 36″ Acrylic inks and mixed media | painted for Community Bible Study

For me, personally, this image of Christ humbles me because it is the true definition of love – a love that is so great that one would lay down their life for us.  I know his story is faced with controversy and scrutiny from the world, but the truth is, my whole life would not be a story of victory without him.  To me, He is real and more present and alive than you can ever imagine.

I am so far from being perfect and I am still a timid introvert who has to fight against my own battles against the world to come out of hiding, but I do hope that it is His light that you get to see through me and His love that you get to experience as I lay out my heart on the canvas for the world to see.

John 3:16-17 (NIV)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
