when we recognise that Jesus weeps for us

and when our tears meet with His tears from Heaven,

the tear drops transform into treasures of the Kingdom and our pain is exchanged with gifts from our Father.

……..

is there anything you are holding onto that you need to let go?  Whether it’s unforgiveness, anger, hatred or a person that you need to let go, just take a moment to close your eyes, hand it over to Jesus and then ask what He has for you in exchange.

We cannot avoid pain in this broken world, but we have a Rescuer who promises us that love ultimately wins.

With some tragic and deadly attacks on humanity like 9/11, July London bombings, terrorist attacks in Beirut, Kenya, and most recently, Paris, revealing the darkness of our world, we need to take courage, unite with love and pray for our world.  Because, no matter how little faith we have, God listens to our cry for help and calms the storm for us.

Matthew 8:23-27 (NIV)

Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him.

Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.

The disciples went and woke him, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!’

He replied, ‘You of little faith, why are you so afraid?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

The men were amazed and asked, ‘What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!’
