What we see of this broken world can be like the murky and unclear water that we are afraid to go in deeper, but when the sun rises and the light overcomes darkness, what we then see is the reflection of the true beauty that exists within.

When we lose someone very special in our lives, we want to believe that our dear loved one has gone to a better place – a place where there is no more death or mourning or crying or pain.  In times like these, we can find comfort in believing that there is a place like Heaven with angels.

We are all imperfect in this world, but with a perfectly beautiful purpose.  When we let the light guide us throughout our lives to our final home (at the end of our life’s journey), we can be confident that we will be given a new perfect body in Heaven, just as God sees us.

John 8:12 (NIV)
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’

1 Corinthians 13:12 (The Message)
“We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!”
