“Sparkling Reflection”

“Sparkling Reflection” by Rosie Jon

Music includes “Oceans (Where Feet May Fall)” by Hillsong United. Filmed by Nicolas Gonzales Cruz. [July 2014]

What a beautiful, summer’s morning it was, just a perfect day to be painting with such a tranquil view of the sea at Compo Beach in Westport, CT.  As the sun blazed so brightly, I could not resist to illustrate the beauty of the “sparkling reflection” that was glistening on the water of the sea/ocean in front of me.

Initially, I was worried about whether the surface of the sand would be too awkward and unlevel for me to stand on to paint, but ofcourse it was meant to be, because when I got to the beach, the sand had been freshly groomed and perfectly flattened out for me!

If you ever have a moment to walk along the beach on a sunny morning, then just stop and look towards the sea and see how God’s light is all around us, revealing the true beauty of His Kingdom to us.

  1. Rosie, I love how every time you write you illuminate light! How appropriate according to that sheet. It radiates from you. Keep shining bright for the Kingdom; God won’t let your flame ever be extinguished. Love you! Thanks for joining the #RaRalinkup! I hope some other bloggers enjoy this as much as I did.
